Description

Commissioned by: :iconmynameisjunk:

Rainmaker from Gen 13 and Rogue from X-Men.

The commission idea (provided by the client) was to do something similar to : [link] , Of course my drawing is not nearly good at that one but at least I try

Anyways, I hope you all like it, and yeah, it would be better if it was "insert your favorite character here" and "I wish they were naked", "too bad there is no feet" and other stuff, but remember it's a commission! :giggle:

This is a Fan art so the characters belongs to their respective owners.

It certainly does appear that these two heroines are effortlessly suspended in the air, hence the apt title, "Flying away." Weightless is another term that easily circulates through my mind. The Vision is most lucid in this artist's artwork.

Originality is readily apparent as well. There are two characters represented well rather than the typical one. Rogue and Rainmaker appear congenial and united in purpose. This is not so noticeably evident with the superheroes portrayed today. The trend is constant contention. There is none of that in this picture; it is a welcome relief to this viewer.

Technique is obvious through the eyes of this artist. The two ladies appear suspended in air with gladness in their hearts and made manifest by their contented expressions on their faces. They both are gently posed and their hair is flowing without a care in the world. Their proportions are well-executed. The colors for the ladies' two uniforms are complementary singularly and plurally.

Finally, Impact, I am moved to a deep sense of contented gladness just by gazing at this piece of art! Effortless, carefree, tender, vulnerable, and outright substantive satisfaction all flawlessly emanate from this selection of art! You have allowed me to see a side of Rogue that usually is not portrayed for her; thus, a more complete picture of her has been made clear to me. Well-done on your part!!!
