Difficult picture, not because the pose because I have done this several times before, and this is not really different. The problem I had was to decide some things and give the "appropriate" look and attitude. 

First I need to say I don't know the character, she's from Grandia 2, I never played the game, why? because I read (at that time) it wasn't so good, and the original Grandia was way better, and I had Grandia in PsOne, one of my favorites games from that era. 

Now from the wiki: "Tio was constructed as a pale-skinned humanoid with two antennae, but lacks any emotions or feelings" , the references had some differences in this matter, the skin tone in some pictures are really pale, kinda the sirens from borderlands, but at the same time, I noticed some Original artworks from the official Artbook had a more normal skin tone, also the portrait in game screenshots. So I decided to use the later.

As you read before, the wiki info, "but lacks any emotions or feelings", this was another thing to consider, but then I read: "By the end of the game, Tio discovers her ability to feel and is ultimately very happy in her new life." Another shot in the dark. My decision here was, draw her like she is doubtful about what she is doing and kinda wondering too. Not sure if it worked as I expect hahaha.

Another "challenge" was the hairstyle, as some already know, I'm not really "fan" of translate anime/manga characters to what I normally do, even if I do/did some, I still think is not wise and I give my "advice" to clients and possible clients to not ask this, because the result is uncertain, some like it, so that's why I still accept, the character in the references have those "bangs" (?) larger, and those things can be kinda difficult to do "irl", so if I wanted to do this in a "realistic" way I had to modify that. I also hope it worked

I couldn't find a better excuse for background, so I used the colors of her costume (it was supposed to be plain white)

So after all my excuses and explanations, I hope you like the result.

Fun fact: I found the name of this character kinda funny, because in my country Tío means "uncle"

P.S: in case you wonder or want to ask for Grandia character Feena... it's not gonna happen, in fact this client asked for it and I said no, lol!
