Thinking about commissions

Well first at all I need to say that I was thinking about this from quite time ago, many people ask me about this but now I feel bad saying no, BUT the big problem was that I don't have PayPal or credit card, (It's a shame , I know ;P ) But a friend told me that if I can't receive money maybe I can receive more time for my subscription , yeah Thanks to him I have a subscription, so my way to charge could be a 3 month subscription, $7.95 ( the price for a 3 months subscription ) for a drawing of a single character with simple background ( well I can't do better Backgrounds anyways :lol: )

But as always I wanna know what you think about this, is too much? so cheap? be honest with me. I don't know anything about this matter of commissions :noes:

If you're comfortable with that price I guess go with it, though you could always take a look at what other people charge for their commissions and get a good price out of that. Or if you want more art as well you could start up art trades :D

If you're comfortable with the price, like the person said above, then go with it! :). You do some really high quality artwork...and I could see myself paying more...It'd be up to you.

I've been using Paypal for a while now, it's very easy to use though, so if you happen to get one, let us know!

Also, I'd love to commission you, but I'd have to wait to pay you first :( This paycheck wasn't any good...But I could do it next week, provided that you're not swamped with them by then.

I know :XD: I've seen people charge insane prices though, like 50+ dollars :ohnoes: Don't undersell yourself though, a subscription is nice but if you get tons of business you'll be subscribed for a whole decade :lmao: The average DA artist would charge anywhere from 8-15 dollars for a coloured pic like you're offering. I say look at your fave artists in your watch list and figure out what would be a comfortable price to charge.

yeah I know that , but because I don't want to do an elaborate background ( I'm not good enough with that ) I think it's a little cheap , but I'm don't want to defraud people with ridiculous amounts of money for a simple drawing ;P

I'd say 8-10 dollars is fine then :D Paypal also works with bank accounts, no credit card needed, I also heard if you have neither, paypal can always mail you a cheque (I think I remember reading that, you might want to check that out). You could also open up to art trades, that's another way people can pay, with more art :laughing:
